Welcome to Fish Lake Beach! We’re so glad you chose to stay a while. Our long term sites are built for guests who want more than a quick overnight — come in, get comfortable, and make this place your home base for the season. Electric, water, and sewer are all at your site, and everything the resort has to offer is right outside your door. We’re really happy to have you.

Fish Lake Beach is located in Volo, Illinois, in Lake County, about 45 minutes north of Chicago right off US Route 12. With quick access to I-94, getting to and from the resort is simple for guests coming from the greater Chicagoland area or southern Wisconsin.

Long term stays have a different feel than a weekend visit, and that’s something we really value here. When you’re around for a while, you get to know your neighbors, find your favorite spot on the beach, and figure out which nights at the Pavilion you don’t want to miss. We have a great, close-knit community here, and long term guests are a big part of what makes Fish Lake Beach feel like home.

Our resort sits right on Fish Lake, so there’s always something to do close by. Kayaks, canoes, and pedal boats are available for rental, the heated pool is open throughout the season, and the beach is a short walk from anywhere on the property. When you’re ready to get off the grounds, Volo Bog State Natural Area and Moraine Hills State Park are just down the road, and the Fox Lake area has great dining and shopping for everyday needs.
