Park Rules

Overnight, rental, and monthly campers are allowed two vehicles at their campsite or rental unit at any one time.

If a camper has only one vehicle, their visitors may park at the rental site.

If a camper already has two vehicles, all visitors must park at the lake in the beachfront parking area.

For seasonal parking, vehicles of licensees, their visitors, and pass holders must be parked within the parking area of the licensee's site.

Additional parking is available in the circle drive by the fishing pier.

Vehicles may not be parked on roads, other campsites, or public areas such as the beach, pool, or pavilion.

Parking in a way that prevents the passage of other vehicles, including emergency vehicles, is prohibited.

All roads must remain passable at all times.

Parking areas and driveways may not be roped or fenced off.

Improperly parked vehicles are subject to towing.

To report a vehicle parked in your parking area without permission, call 847-546-2228 while the vehicle is present. Do not use Facebook or texts to contact Fish Lake Beach staff regarding improperly parked vehicles.

Dogs are welcome for overnight, monthly, and seasonal campers and must be leashed at all times except inside the FLB dog park.

Use of the dog park requires compliance with the posted rules.

Dogs are not permitted on the sand areas of the beach or in the roped-off swimming area.

Loud or incessant barking will not be tolerated.

Dogs may not be left unattended at campsites.

Dogs are not permitted in or at most rental camper units. The only pet-friendly rental unit is Z5.

Check-ins are available from morning through midnight.

Any arrivals after midnight must wait until 8:00 AM for entry.

For guests arriving after office hours, a black drop box is located at the Gate House. Your check-in packet containing a park map and site diagram will be placed inside with your name clearly labeled on the outside. Please stop by the office the following morning to complete your registration and settle any remaining balance.

Grace Period: Change within a few hours of booking with no fee.

Standard Window: Change your dates anytime before the cancellation deadline with no penalty.

Late Changes: After the deadline, changes are still possible (alteration fee applies), subject to availability.

Grace Period: Cancel within a few hours of booking for a full refund.

Standard Window: Cancel before the deadline for a $20 fee (short-term stays) or $100 fee (extended stays).

Late Cancellation or No-Show: After the deadline, deposits are partially or fully forfeited. Short-term stays forfeit 100% of the deposit; extended stays forfeit 50% of the first month's rent.

Special rules may apply for holidays, events, or natural disasters. Review your agreement for full terms and conditions.
